The mission of Pleasant Lea Elementary School is to provide high standards in a caring environment with opportunities for each student to learn and succeed in a changing society. Dignity and respect for others will be actively promoted. We accept the responsibility to work in cooperation with parents, patrons, and the business community to achieve our mission.

PLE Parent Creed
I will be supportive of my child, the school and the individuals responsible for his/her education. I will stay involved in my child’s schooling and make it my business to know what he/she is learning. I will send my child to school prepared to learn and maintain high expectations of academics and behavior. I will convey to my child that school is a job and learning is the first priority.

All R-7 schools have been assigned a telephone information line. Each telephone line will feature recorded messages highlighting school events, meetings, and other news about our schools. The information line telephone number for PLE is 986-1231.
